4 PAWS ANIMAL SHELTER
April – 2 year old DSH SF. April showers bring May flowers and this Sweet Pea was expecting little blossoms of her own, but sadly her kittens did not make it. She has putdown temporary roots here at the shelter but is now ready to branch out and leave. This rose among thorns would make a purrfect addition to any garden but she is a little prickly when it comes to other kitties so she would do best being an only cat. Fred – 1-2 year old DSH NM. Yabba-Dabba Doo have we got the perfect prehistoric pussycat for you!! Fred may look a little rough around the edges from spending some time in Slate’s quarry but he is actually a really smooth guy. Fred is a simple guy, he doesn’t require a palatial estate, but he also deserves better than a lonely life in a cave…
Marty – 1-2 year old DSH NM. Marty has had a tough time living on the streets. It was a long, cold winter and in order to keep warm in the area where he was living, he climbed up underneath some truck engines and burned the pads on his poor little feet. He is a little scuffed up from his experiences but you would never know it by his behavior, he is super affectionate and very laid back.

Emilywas brought to the hospital to be euthanized because she had ticks. Ridiculous but true. She is about 11+ years old and a DSH tiger SF. She eats both canned and dry and uses her litterbox fine. She absolutely loves to be brushed and have her belly rubbed. We believe Emily will find her forever home with an experienced cat person. PURR-FECT CAT SHELTER
Betty – Adult DSH Black White SF. Found in a local community and held by the Animal Control Officer until we were certain that she wasn’t missing from her family, this very petite and sweet cat was not spayed and had most likely had numerous litters. Betty’s days of having babies are over and this little cutie is so deserving of a wonderful home.
Buddy-Young Adult DSH Brown Tabby with White NM. A Good Samaritan in a neighboring town called the shelter regarding a cat hanging around that did not appear to belong to anyone. The cat that she was describing was a big male with a large head and jowls, typical of a cat that is not neutered. He was sent to the veterinarian for neuter, combo testing and vaccines. Buddy, as we have called him, is a very handsome and affectionate cat. He will follow you everywhere! He loves all the attention he is getting at the shelter and he should be a great addition to any home.
Millie-Young Adult DSH Black White SF Bobtail. Millie is a very diminutive cat with a chatty nature! She was already spayed when found and picked up by our local Animal Control Officer. No one ever came forward to claim or call about her, so it is assumed that like so many other cats today, she was dumped. Millie has a bobtail and it appears that she was born this way and that it was not the result of an injury. Come and meet sweet Millie.
